Awesome place to gather with the shelter, restrooms, & playground. We did take the nature trail walk & it was a bit to grueling for my family but all in all it was a gorgous area.
A lovely local park. Great place for a hike and some photography. The paths are pretty easy but have some steeper inclines so require some work to walk.

Very nice natural area with several trails along Gunpowder Creek. Remember that the slope down to the creek will be a hill going back up to the parking lot and plan your energy accordingly. The picnic pavilion and playground at the entrance is very nice.
Hike down to gunpowder creek is very easy. Cross through the fied at the bottom of the gravel trail to get to the creek. Wild mint groes along the northern bank.
